online Haas Service Guide. My job was to bring fresh ideas to the table, create and convert product service procedures into XML

format under a DITA structure. I was to generate 3D technical illustrations from existing Solidworks 3D models to SAP Visual

Enterprise Author. Prepare reusable illustration content to combine with the translatable XML written content. Haas asked me

to prepare a visual style guide for the standardization of their technical illustrations.

My fourteen years with Jensen Design & Survey Inc. was full of hard work, collaboration, and forward thinking. My role began as

an Engineering Assistant and to bring the CAD production and standards to an acceptable level. Soon after I introduced aerial

photo coverage and GIS to the design workflow. It wasn't long before my position in the company moved to Designer/Project

Manager. My duties included; site design, delegating projects tasks, prepare and oversee construction documents, cost

estimates, reports, coordinate with survey crews for construction staking and manage/maintain CAD and GIS software

standards, and training.

My last year at JDS I was moved from the Engineering Dept. to the Land Planning Dept. The plan was; In-between planning

projects to develop a Civil3D intuitive design workflow and start efforts to build- up our 3D visualization and BIM services.

My long career with Jensen Design ended with an abundance of knowledge, good friends, collages and a mutual respectful

separation.
